Thank you for visiting, this page is dedicated to Alyssa and her courageous fight! Meet Alyssa and her father, Chris, a personal friend of mine. Alyssa is one awesome little girl with a smile that will brighten anyone's day. Her father, Chris, is a true father in every meaning of the word, always placing his family first in everything and making sure all the needs are met. This page was not requested by Chris, this is something I wanted to do to assist them in their time of need. Chris has never asked for a thing or any financial assistance, he is a truly humble man. Chris, you have my admiration and I hope that anything that comes from this page is a blessing! Recently, little Alyssa was diagnosed with Stage 1 lung cancer...and now, I am asking for your help in her fight.
Over the course of our friendship I have grown to know Chris well. Sometime ago, I was made aware that his daughter, Alyssa, had been having some issues with her breathing and that they had been taking her to see doctors and even specialists at Duke University Medical Center. Chris, Alyssa, his wife and other children have been making the best of the situation and have been making trips to Duke, often enduring overnight stays, and shouldering most of the expenses all the while having a positive outlook and a hopeful outcome. Every time I have ever seen this little girl she is quick to place a smile on everyone around her.
Recently little Alyssa had to undergo some surgical processes of which she did very well with. The picture above was sent to me by her father, Chris, the evening of her recovery from her bedside. As you can see, she is a trooper and she sure was enjoying that ice pop. She should be an inspiration to all that it's the little things and sometimes the littlest people in the world that make life so great. So, I ask you, if you are blessed, can we bless this family and this little girl? Anything that can be done to assist them would be greatly appreciated. As mentioned before, this is not a request of the family, this is something that has been placed upon my heart and I would personally appreciate anything anyone would be willing to do. All donations will go directly to the family to assist them in their time of need.
